Whistle while they work!
Coon Creek Custom Game Calls started as a weekend hobby in 2014, never intending to sell a call. After tinkering with call making, the focus was switched to waterfowl whistles. After very successful results both in the shop and in the field, curiosity entered Dustin's mind. Once the first whistle hit the market, word spread rapidly and CC was thrust into the spotlight, almost overnight! Since that initial rush of customers, CC has continued to evolve and improve. CC whistles have been entered into the NWTF call making competition in each of the past 3 years and have placed in the top 5 in each year! Highlights of those competitions include being named Rookie Call Maker of the Year in 2015 and placing 2nd, 4th and 5th in 2017! With CC whistles being used by numerous Outfitters and leaders in the Waterfowl industry, not to mention the numerous accolades, Coon Creek has become synonymous with quality and functionality!
The name, Coon Creek, is taken from a small creek that flows through Dustin's Grandfather’s pasture. "'Papaw' helped shape me and mold me into the man I am today so it was only fitting that my business is named with him in mind. While he may be gone in body, he continues to live on in my memory. Every time I send out a call, it brings a smile to my face knowing how proud he’d be seeing Coon Creek on every envelope. Prentiss Turner Sr. never met a stranger and took care of those that took care of him! I run my business the same way he lived his life. When you purchase a call, rest assured, you will be taken care of. You’re not just a customer, you’re a friend!"
That dedication to quality and customer relationships is why The Call Reserve is proud to offer Coon Creek calls!
